Saying “I’m not sure” won’t kill your career.
But this will:
When you don’t know the answer to something and you BS your people. They see through it. You’ll get found out sooner or later.
Your best strategy is to lead with honesty and humility. Here are two ways to do that.

👉🏻 “I’m not sure, What do you think?”
Don’t be a fixer, be a facilitator. If you don’t know something, either find out or give your people the tools to find out.
